Dark Grey MarquetryMania Bowl

The MarquetryMania Bowl reinterprets the centuries-old craft of marquetry, traditionally used in Middle Eastern backgammon boards. Artisans stack and slice dyed woods into graphic patterns, which are then applied as strips onto curved wooden forms. In this collection, the marquetry is always laid on a curve, pushing the boundaries of the craft and challenging the craftsmen’s skill. Available in two sizes and a variety of colors, the bowls are both functional and playful, embodying Nada Debs’ vision of transforming heritage into modern design.
