The Crafted Concrete Bowl highlights Nada Debs’ reinterpretation of concrete as a surface for craftsmanship rather than construction. Artisans begin by carving geometric patterns into a wooden mold, into which liquid concrete is poured, capturing every detail as it sets. Once released, the bowl reveals a grey exterior etched with hand-chiseled motifs, contrasted by a gold leaf interior that reflects light with warmth. Tilted in form, it transforms a material known for strength and permanence into a decorative piece of texture, geometry, and refinement.
