Cane Embroidery Buffet

Part of the Cane Embroidery Collection, this buffet is crafted in collaboration with Palestinian women artisans, who hand embroider each panel using their traditional tatreez technique. For this piece, they were challenged to innovate by stitching onto woven cane, a material they had never worked with before. The embroidery runs diagonally along the surface, intersecting to create overlapping colors and a dynamic pattern. The entire structure is crafted in American walnut with brass detailing and finished with a marble top. The combination of handcraft, material innovation, and minimalist form reflects Nada Debs’ ethos of “Handmade & Heartmade,” where every piece tells a tactile story. Made to order, it can be customized in dimensions, finishes, and materials.
