Contour Marquetry
Contour marquetry combines the precision of traditional wood marquetry with the addition of tin inlay, creating layered, illustrative patterns that feel both graphic and textural. Artisans carefully cut veneers and hand-inlay metal to achieve depth and dimension. Nada Debs developed this technique to bring greater visual storytelling to surfaces, blending materials in ways that reference illustration and craftsmanship simultaneously. The result is a surface where geometry and storytelling meet.
