NADA DEBS X Kahhal Looms

In participation with Kahhal Looms, Nada Debs unveils “Shubbak” at Bayt al-Razzaz.Inspired by the unique colors and captivating shapes of the strained glass windows in this beautiful space, Nada Debs reinterpreted the window design transforming it into an oval shaped hand-knotted rug.This project came together to raise awareness about the significance of Bayt al-Razzaz, a rare double courtyard medieval palace. The objective was to contribute for the restoration of the 18th century decorative ceiling of the reception hall, ‘Qa’a,’ on the Eastern courtyard.This heartfelt collaboration reflects Nada Debs commitment to working with local and global craftsmen, preserving heritage, and celebrating shared values.
